N.E.X.T race will begin @ TAMPINES MALL.
i got a lashing from my mum after informing her of my absence tonight. already i m nt having enough slp cos of work tgt with my poor health, i must say it is justifiable tt she is worried abt the overnight nature of the race.
we might not be the strongest team ard, but we will have the most fun tonight. joining it with ppl no less than my favourite ODACians reminds me of the times in college where competitions like this were aplenty.
the closest example being adjam, which lasted 24hours across singapore. i rmbed tt as the 1st time seeing everyone so happy when we came in 1st in the kayaking. it was no easy feat as the cj team was so strong tt their idea of resting was to do pull-ups plus their kayak moved so fast tt it seemed like there was no stopping them.
n i look up at my bed n saw the picture we took on the seasports carnival. reminiscing the times we "trained" for the event; playing tug-of-war in the middle of the waters, trying to capsize the boat, and classic shian yang who constantly splash water in the eyes of whoever sat behind him. tt person happened to me on the day of the race n i rmb nt being able to see anything cos of the water, all i knew was tt we were reaching the end pt and to keep rowing. before i knew it, out boat had burst out in cheers!
of cos, these were just some things tt went through my head after i "regain consciousness" from my slp as i struggled to go back to dreamland. so i woke up, n frenster hopped and got myself uber emo by a particular profile.
then, everyone seemed so happy. now, every single couple at the table cept for 1 had broken up and each struggling with their new relationships. i saw pictures of the 2 of them, looking so happy and loving, n i look at them now.... then i look at the other 2, also looking so blissful, n now having had things done so ugly.
shit, i think i m becoming old already because only old ppl like to look back. wat's passed is past, i shall pull 1 last extraordinary act and take my bow.
5hours n 15mins more, i shall go pack my bag now.
