Girl:
I see.
I feel.
I walk.
I lived.
at 9pm, all teams started to charge forward to their 1st checkpoints with everybody looking super enthu and driven. who knows by the time we reached esplanade, i was already feeling the effects of a serious lack of slp and training.
a major part of the race was really banked on the good samaritans of singapore with special thanks to all the cabbies, lorries and all others who gave us a ride to spare us the gruelling run. especially the funny cabbie who fetched us to labrador park at 6am in the morning despite his complains and also FREDDY and MARCUS whom we met at mustafa and sent us all the way to ROM. as we were squashed most of the time, i dun have pictures to memorate all the interesting happenings along the way, including our adventure along a drain trail.
my funny members insisted on taking a picture to commemorate the day we squashed in a lorry with bangalas.
n our prize for the day!!!
in general, we had uber loads of fun and were only hoping to squeeze into the top 20. as luck would have it, we beat all the other pumped up teams n chiongsters to emerge THIRD! nonetheless, i m superduper shag now with aching legs. but the fun and cash made it all worthwhile.
